Getting To Wait-A-While In The Daintree

Wait-a-While in the Daintree is only one hour's drive north of Port Douglas, and two hours north of Cairns.

Head north along the Captain Cook Highway, through the township of Mossman and then take the turn off to the Daintree River Ferry which is well signposted.

Wait-a-While In The Daintree is about 30 minutes drive north of the Daintree River. After dis-embarking from the ferry you cross the Alexandra Range and then arrive at the small settlement of Cow Bay.

Take the right turn to Cow Bay Beach, which is signposted as Buchanan Creek Road, Wait A While is approximately 5.5klm’s from the turn-off on the left hand side of the road (the last driveway on the left before the beach)
