Wait-a-While in the Daintree is only one hour's drive north of Port Douglas, and two hours north of Cairns. Head north along the Captain Cook Highway, through the township of Mossman and then take the turn off to the Daintree River Ferry which is well signposted.
Wait-a-While In The Daintree is about 30 minutes drive north of the Daintree River. You cross the Alexandra Range and come into the small settlement of Cow Bay.
Take the turn off to Cow Bay Beach, which is signposted as Buchanan Creek Road. Follow this road until the bitumen road becomes gravel. Then it is only one more kilometer - Wait-a-while is signposted on the left.
